Our secondary school term abroad programme gives students the opportunity to immerse themselves in French day to day life and culture. Not only does it help them to improve their language skills but also encourages them to grow as people. The course is perfect for Transition Year pupils but open to all students aged 15-18 as long as they have been studying French for 2 years and are motivated.
Students essentially become French teenagers. They live with carefully selected host families, attend a local French high school, take subjects through French, and experience French life through complete immersion . The course is available from 6 weeks up to the full school year and is not only a great learning experience, but a great life experience too!

Students are placed at various locations throughout France. Host families are mostly located in small towns or rural areas. There is no guarantee of geographical preference in the placement process. The emphasis is placed on matching common interests and academic records.
